The Oxford Mail Camera Club has been showcasing canine photography as its most recent weekly challenge.

Participants submitted images of their pets captured in numerous settings and positions.

Some submissions documented dogs during outdoor excursions, while others displayed animals at rest or engaged in various pastimes.

Determining a victor proved challenging, though the panel ultimately selected a submission from Sue Reeves depicting a dog named beautiful Molly reclining on a lawn.

Each seven-day period, members of the club receive a fresh topic and subsequently publish their submissions through the club’s Facebook presence.

Curated collections subsequently appear in the Oxford Mail and The Oxford Times publications, with a single entry designated as the weekly standout.

Successful entries must correspond with the designated theme, which itself emerges from suggestions put forward by club members.

The forthcoming challenge centres on agricultural life.
