A programme designed to assist companies in increasing their income and achieving expansion has been announced for the Thames Valley region.
The initiative, coordinated by the Federation of Small Businesses, is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at Grovefield House Hotel in Slough.
The half-day event runs from 10am until 3pm and will provide small enterprises with hands-on guidance, specialist knowledge, and opportunities to build professional contacts.
The focus will be on helping attendees develop their sales capabilities and establish relationships with prospective clients.
Nikki Burns, who serves as the area lead for FSB Thames Valley, explained that entrepreneurs have expressed demand for assistance that delivers tangible improvements to their financial performance.
The bootcamp format brings together experienced presenters, applicable resources, and chances to participate in procurement activities.
Attendees will also benefit from being surrounded by other businesses that may serve as future customers, suppliers, or valuable industry contacts.
The programme addresses multiple business needs, including refining sales techniques, identifying new markets, safeguarding profitability, and investigating possibilities within large-scale supply chains.
The lineup includes contributions from Chris Hunt, a specialist in mental performance psychology working with elite clients, and Anthony Stears, an internationally recognised public speaker who operates under the moniker The Telephone Assassin.
A dedicated segment will examine procurement strategies at Heathrow Airport, outlining potential entry points for enterprises seeking to align with the airport’s long-term supply chain requirements.
Additional components feature structured networking periods, a display area showcasing businesses, and facilities provided by London Media Lounge for recording podcast content.
Those participating will obtain a professionally edited podcast recording along with promotional video material suitable for social media distribution.
The FSB is requesting that business associations, local authorities, and media outlets disseminate information about the event to ensure maximum participation across the Thames Valley area.
