The supermarket chain has reduced the cost of festive chocolate containers that traditionally arrive on shelves ahead of the holiday season.
The range includes Celebrations, Cadbury Heroes, Quality Street, and Cadbury Roses, with each priced at four pounds.
The promotional pricing represents a reduction of more than thirty percent from the standard retail price of five pounds and seventy-two pence.
No loyalty programme membership is required to access the offer.
The reduction applies to purchases made both in physical outlets and through digital ordering platforms.
The discounted pricing remains in effect until the final day of August.
The specific chocolate containers available under the promotion include a five-hundred-gram Celebrations milk chocolate option, a four-hundred-seventy-five-gram Cadbury Heroes chocolate assortment, a five-hundred-fifty-gram Quality Street chocolate selection, and a four-hundred-seventy-five-gram Cadbury Roses chocolate assortment.
The price reduction announcement follows the retailer’s recent decision to reintroduce a chocolate bar absent from shelves for almost three decades.
Puffin bars have returned to United Kingdom stores following an absence since the late nineteen-nineties.
The original Puffin product was withdrawn following litigation with the manufacturers of Penguin bars, who maintained that the two products bore excessive resemblance.
Although court proceedings permitted continued use of the Puffin designation, judicial determination required modifications to the packaging and branding elements.
Despite implementing the mandated alterations, the company ultimately elected to cease production of the bar.
The items had not appeared in supermarket aisles since nineteen-ninety-seven, and consumers can now once again purchase the confectionery product.
Representatives for the retailer have been contacted for statement regarding the pricing initiative.
