A festive light trail is returning to Oxfordshire this winter, offering a magical evening experience for visitors of all ages.

Illuminate Oxfordshire will transform Millets Farm Centre near Abingdon into a luminous wonderland from November 14, 2026, until January 1, 2027, building on a successful inaugural event last year.

Organisers have announced that the 2026 edition will feature a redesigned route and an enhanced Alpine Village, presenting guests with an expanded seasonal offering.

A representative for the event explained that the positive reception received during the previous festive period provided motivation to deliver something distinctly fresh for those returning in 2026.

The route has been completely reconsidered, with fresh installations introduced throughout the site.

Additional paved sections have been constructed across the farmland, and the Alpine Village has undergone further development.

The objective extends beyond presenting a simple illuminated pathway.

The aim is for families, groups, and couples to visit Millets Farm, traverse the route, and enjoy an entire festive evening at the venue.

Guests can anticipate the journey lasting between 60 and 80 minutes as they move through various illuminated displays positioned across the farm grounds.

Each display has been crafted to delight and create a sense of wonder.

Newly paved portions of the route now enable the path to reach further into the property.

The offering extends beyond the installations themselves.

The enlarged Alpine Village provides festive refreshments, warm beverages, and atmospheric settings both before and after the trail experience.

Guests may sample hot meals, confectionery, and roasted marshmallows within a comfortable winter environment.

The occasion welcomes visitors across all age groups, making it appropriate for families, companions, and social groups.

The venue sits at Millets Farm Centre on Kingston Road in Frilford and will operate throughout the holiday period.
