Oxford Magistrates’ Court heard eight cases during the most recent session.

A 31-year-old man residing on George Street in Bicester admitted to operating a Ford Focus vehicle without valid documentation on Great Suffolk Street in London on January 31.

The defendant acknowledged driving without possessing the required licence and third-party insurance coverage.

Additionally, a traffic sign violation was recorded during the same incident.

Financial penalties imposed included £130 for court expenses, £184 allocated to victim services, and a monetary penalty of £461.

Six penalty points were also endorsed on his driving record.

A 26-year-old motorist from Cotswold Park in Didcot confessed to exceeding the speed limit in a 50mph zone while travelling along the A322 Bracknell Road through Bagshot, Surrey, on September 10 of the preceding year.

The defendant was also found to have disregarded mandatory traffic control signals during this occurrence.

The bench issued a £40 financial penalty and three penalty points were recorded.

A 34-year-old resident of Awgar Stone Road in Headington entered guilty pleas to criminal damage charges relating to an incident in Great Yarmouth on June 20.

Monetary orders included £85 for legal costs, £74 designated for victim services, £186 as a financial penalty, and £300 in compensation payments.

An 18-year-old man from Crawley Road in Witney admitted to two counts of drug-related driving offences committed in a Ford Focus on Longfield Avenue in Fareham on March 1.

The defendant also acknowledged possession of ketamine, a class B controlled substance, during the same occasion.

Penalties comprised £85 for expenses, £233 for victim services, and £583 in fines.

A 24-month prohibition from driving was imposed.

A 27-year-old man from Patrick Haugh Road in Arncott, Bicester, entered guilty pleas to five counts of theft from a convenience store in Southampton occurring during March.

The aggregate value of the stolen items totalled £326.65.

A three-month immediate custodial sentence was imposed.

A 34-year-old defendant from Sir Henry Jake Close in Banbury was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle whilst impaired by alcohol on Coleford Road in Darnall on May 22 the previous year.

The readings indicated 47 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.

Orders were made for £650 in expenses, £138 for victim services, and £346 in monetary penalties.

A 12-month driving ban was imposed, with the possibility of reducing this period by three months upon satisfactory completion of an approved rehabilitation programme before February 28 the following year.

A 35-year-old man from St Annes Road in Oxford admitted to possessing a bladed article at an airport on June 12.

The defendant was ordered to pay £85 in expenses, £203 for victim services, and £507 in fines.

An order was made for the article to be destroyed.

A 41-year-old woman from Foxcombe Road in Boars Hill, Oxford, pleaded guilty to travelling at excess speed within a 40mph zone while operating a Volvo XC40 on the A40 in London on October 2 the previous year.

Orders comprised £130 for expenses, £58 for victim services, and £146 in fines.

A six-month prohibition from driving was imposed alongside three penalty points.
