The trial of a man accused of carrying out a sexual assault on an unconscious woman near a homeless shelter in Oxford has seen its jury dismissed.
Moussa Adoum, aged 42 and from Brighton, faced a single charge of assault by penetration at Oxford Crown Court in connection with an alleged incident outside O’Hanlon House.
The prosecution maintained that the sexual activity occurred without the complainant’s agreement.
According to court proceedings, the alleged assault took place on April 5 last year.
The jury was dismissed on August 25 following the emergence of a difficulty during the proceedings.
A fresh trial has been arranged to commence in March of the following year.
