An investigation has been initiated by law enforcement officials following multiple complaints about an individual allegedly exposing themselves to members of the public in a woodland area of Oxfordshire over an extended period.

The neighbourhood policing division of Thames Valley Police serving the Henley area has confirmed that patrols have been increased in Wroxhills Woods near Goring in South Oxfordshire.

The action follows numerous reports from members of the public describing encounters with a male who has reportedly been displaying indecent behaviour toward walkers.

Authorities are examining accounts of the individual who is reported to have periodically exposed himself to others during the past twenty-four months.

The behaviour has been characterised as occurring at irregular intervals throughout this timeframe.

A representative for the constabulary stated that officials would welcome information from any individuals who may have observed suspicious activity, possess knowledge regarding the identity of the person involved, or who may have been directly affected by such behaviour but have not yet contacted authorities.

Members of the public were directed to utilise the 101 non-emergency telephone number and reference the identification number 43260419408 when providing information.

The guidance included an instruction to dial 999 immediately should any offence be occurring at the time of contact.

This development follows the recent apprehension of an unrelated male in connection with multiple reported incidents of indecent exposure in the town of Didcot, which is also located within Oxfordshire.
