Feline nutrition company Untamed has revealed plans to increase its financial support for animal welfare organisation Blue Cross, following the success of a previous partnership.
The pet food manufacturer committed to contributing £30,000 to the national animal charity after its 2025 Blue Cross Limited Edition product range sold through completely.
The themed product line will be reintroduced for another year, with every purchase generating funds directly for the charitable cause.
The initiative aims to assist animals requiring support.
The recurring Chicken Breast with Salmon in Gravy formulation, produced using actual chicken breast and salmon, will be accessible solely through Untamed subscription customers.
The items will retail at £9 per sleeve and remain available until inventory is exhausted.
During the previous year, the limited edition collection sold out entirely and Untamed provided £15,000 to Blue Cross.
That contribution financed crucial care across the organisation’s operations, encompassing medical treatment, provisions, and assistance for animals housed at its facilities and adoption centres.
The increased £30,000 contribution could enable Blue Cross to deliver veterinary services, sustenance, and specialist help for animals requiring aid.
It could additionally support construction of a cat enclosure at the charity’s Burford adoption centre and reinforce essential activities such as foster care, rehoming, health examinations, and spaying or neutering procedures.
Velina Wylde, brand manager at Untamed Cat Food Limited, stated that customer response to the prior year’s partnership demonstrated strong engagement from purchasers who appreciated a recipe their own cats could relish while simultaneously helping other animals.
The products sold through completely, and that backing provided the incentive to return with a doubled contribution this occasion.
By increasing the donation to £30,000, the objective is to assist Blue Cross in maintaining the care and support animals require.
Mark Corbett, group head of fundraising and retail at the national pet charity, expressed gratitude for the substantial contribution.
Throughout the country, pet owners are experiencing strain from escalating living expenses, and demand for the charity’s services remains persistent.
This contribution will enable Blue Cross to assist additional animals during times of need.
It will support essential veterinary treatment, sustain the network of adoption centres and pet food distribution programmes, and permit the organisation to care for and rehome greater numbers of vulnerable animals, offering them renewed opportunities.
The Blue Cross Limited Edition collection will debut in September 2026 and can be included with Untamed subscription orders while supplies persist.
Untamed operates as a British cat food company dedicated to supplying nutrition aligned with cats’ natural requirements.
Blue Cross functions as a national charitable organisation that has supported unwell, injured, and displaced animals since 1897.
