Jordan Graham, who previously represented Oxford United on two separate loan stints from Wolverhampton Wanderers, has been admitted to hospital following a significant road traffic collision.
The 31-year-old sustained injuries during the incident earlier this month and is currently receiving specialist medical treatment.
Graham’s first spell at Oxford United occurred in 2015, with his second stint at the club taking place in 2019.
The Professional Footballers’ Association released a communication on behalf of Graham’s family on Monday, September 21, confirming the circumstances of the accident and his current medical situation.
The family expressed their appreciation for the care being provided to the former winger and requested that well-wishers respect their privacy by avoiding direct contact while they concentrate on his recovery.
The statement indicated that further updates would only be shared when deemed appropriate.
Oxford United issued a response confirming that the club’s thoughts remained with Graham as he continued his recuperation.
