A collection of historical images documenting Oxfordshire’s hospitality industry has emerged from the Oxford Mail archive, showcasing hotels across the county through various eras.
Oxford, long established as a tourist destination, offers visitors numerous accommodation options including hotels, bed and breakfasts, and rental apartments.
However, the surrounding Oxfordshire region also presents considerable attractions for visitors.
The archive collection features photographs spanning several decades, capturing hotel events, newsworthy moments, new business openings, and notable guests at establishments throughout the county.
One image documents the opening celebration for spa facilities at the Randolph Hotel in Oxford.
Pictured at the event were members of the spa team: Hannah, Leagha, Emma, and Anna.
