A 34-year-old man has been taken into custody in an Oxfordshire town on suspicion of drug dealing.
Thames Valley Police has confirmed that officers from the Bicester and Kidlington neighbourhood team apprehended the individual on September 17 in Kirtlington, close to Bicester.
The arrest relates to suspected intent to supply controlled substances.
According to a force representative, a patrol officer identified an individual smoking cannabis.
A subsequent search conducted under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act uncovered a quantity of drugs exceeding initial expectations.
The man was detained on suspicion of possession with intent to supply and has been released pending further investigation as inquiries continue.
Separately, the same neighbourhood team impounded an electric moped in Ambrosden after establishing that the rider was a child aged 12 and that the vehicle lacked insurance cover.
Officers PC Franklin and PC Mummery intercepted the moped after observing the rider travelling without a helmet.
The moped was confiscated and relevant procedures initiated.
The operational period also included officers conducting covert patrols throughout Bicester on September 18.
Several stop searches were completed with favourable results, yielding useful intelligence for ongoing enforcement work.
Throughout the period, the team attended emergency calls, participated in joint safeguarding activities with partner agencies, advanced existing investigations, and collected information to address local concerns.
