A global fast-food brand has shared a series of puzzling images online, sparking speculation among customers about an upcoming promotion.

The company confirmed earlier this month that its annual board-game-based giveaway would not be returning, but now an intriguing alternative appears to be on the horizon.

The official social media presence posted several images depicting a golden vault featuring diverse symbols.

These included a snowflake, a silhouette of a continent, what resembles a slice of cured pork, a dairy product, a security device, and country abbreviations spelling out international destinations.

The accompanying caption offered no explanation, simply stating an intent to participate regardless of meaning.

Earlier this week, an announcement revealed that a global culinary collection would soon be launching across outlets, drawing inspiration from nations worldwide.

The World Menu Heist initiative makes its second appearance, bringing popular items from European, North American, Middle Eastern, and Asia-Pacific regions to establishments in the British Isles.

The teaser appears connected to this collection, which encompasses the following offerings: a potato-based burger from Germany, a poultry dish featuring maple and dairy toppings and a dessert incorporating toasted marshmallows from North America, breakfast sandwiches containing egg and chicken with various bacon variations from the southern continent, seasoned potato products from the Low Countries, a spicy condiment from East Asia, a tropical fruit combination with a zero-sugar carbonated beverage from the subcontinent, and a cheese and pasta dish from the Arabian Peninsula.

The new offerings become accessible from the specified date across all locations in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.

Following the announcement regarding the cancellation of the long-running prize game after two full decades, consumers responded with frustration in the discussion section, expressing disinterest in alternative promotions.

In response, the company emphasised its commitment to customer engagement through fresh experiences.

A representative highlighted recent launches and strategic collaborations across different platforms, indicating ongoing efforts to develop future promotional activities while acknowledging the importance of customer preferences in shaping upcoming campaigns.
