A formal investigation has commenced following the passing of a 60-year-old resident in Oxford.
Francis Jennings, from Oxford, was discovered deceased at his property on June 27 this year.
Oxfordshire Coroner’s Court initiated proceedings into the circumstances of his death on September 17, with assistant coroner Judith Leach presiding.
Emergency services responded to reports that the individual was discovered without vital signs at his residence.
Medical documentation presented to the court indicated that the causes of death were listed as aspiration of vomit alongside schizophrenia compounded by heat stroke.
The matter has been postponed to allow for a comprehensive hearing, which is scheduled to be held at Oxfordshire Coroner’s Court on December 3 commencing at 2pm.
Two years prior, Thames Valley Police had issued a public appeal for information regarding Mr Jennings’ whereabouts.
Following the circulation of CCTV footage documenting his travels, the individual was subsequently located in good health.
