The agricultural manager from a hit rural television programme has spoken publicly about his devotion to canine companions, with support from the show’s lead presenter.
Kaleb Cooper, aged 28, serves as the farm manager at Diddly Squat Farm, featured on the Amazon Prime Video series Clarkson’s Farm.
His residence is located in Chipping Norton alongside his spouse and offspring.
The household recently expanded to include a young dog called Rex, acquired in September 2026.
The name was selected by his children, inspired by the dinosaur species T-Rex.
An earlier canine addition arrived in late 2021, with a dog named Alfie becoming a regular presence alongside Cooper during agricultural work and while operating farm machinery.
Tragically, Cooper’s dog Diesel passed away in September 2021.
Cooper publicly described the animal as an exceptional companion.
Taking to social media, the agricultural worker discussed the significance of pets and treating them with compassion.
He expressed that human companions represent a dog’s entire existence during their limited lifespan, whereas dogs accompany their owners for merely a portion of the owner’s life.
Cooper and his partner Lisa maintain several fox red Labrador retrievers.
Two of these animals bear names drawn from the fictional series Game of Thrones: Sansa and Arya.
Arya has since produced offspring, with one of her puppies remaining in the household.
During July 2025, the programme’s presenter Jeremy Clarkson assumed a practical role at his property in Chadlington, assisting during Arya’s birth of 11 puppies.
Clarkson has also honoured his animal companions through naming his Oxfordshire establishment.
The village pub, previously traded as The Windmill, was rebranded as The Farmer’s Dog as a tribute to his cherished dogs.
