A 45-year-old man from Bromsgrove has been summoned to court facing 14 criminal charges stemming from alleged conduct in Oxfordshire.
Ryan Bridge, residing in Blackwell, Worcestershire, faces multiple public order violations alongside racially aggravated and assault-related allegations following a Thames Valley Police probe.
The complete charge sheet encompasses seven allegations of employing threatening language intended to cause alarm and distress, three counts of utilizing abusive or insulting behaviour with the purpose of provoking unlawful violence, two counts of racially aggravated intentional harassment causing alarm or distress, one count of racially aggravated intentional harassment creating fear of violence, and a single charge of common assault.
Authorities indicate the alleged offences occurred between the end of January and the conclusion of March this year.
Investigators conducted an extensive examination of testimony and video material before forwarding a case file to the Crown Prosecution Service for review.
Bridge has been scheduled to appear before Oxfordshire Magistrates’ Court in early November.
The Raise the Colours Oxfordshire collective claims responsibility for installing flags on various public structures throughout the county.
Supporters maintain the initiative represents patriotic expression, while detractors contend the symbols promote anti-immigrant messaging and create safety hazards alongside an unwelcoming environment for residents.
