Oxfordshire County Council has issued a traffic order affecting multiple roads throughout the county due to scheduled infrastructure projects.
Resurfacing work will close a section of Upavon Way in Carterton from Carr Avenue to Lord Close.
The restriction runs from September 1 through September 26, operating nightly between 8pm and 6am.
Pedestrians and cyclists may still pass through the area, while other vehicles will be directed to a signed diversion.
Gas supply improvements require closing part of Stonesfield’s High Street from September 15 until September 22.
The affected portion lies between Kemps Cottage and The Cottage.
Residents and emergency services retain access throughout this period.
Dwelling construction necessitates keeping Northwood Crescent in Carterton shut until the end of 2029.
The closure, which began on August 3, covers the route from its southeastern terminus to the junction with Raynham Close.
Frog Lane in Milton-under-Wychwood will shut for new footway installation between September 7 and September 18.
Local signage will direct traffic around the closure.
A new water connection project closes Appleton Road in Cumnor from October 20 to October 24.
The closure spans the section between house numbers 50 and 62.
Gas main replacement will restrict Oxford Road in Cumnor from November 23 until January 22, 2027.
Traffic cannot pass between Denman’s Lane and Bertie Road during this period.
The Playing Close in Charlbury requires a duct and pole bend installation from October 20 to October 22.
The closure affects the road between addresses 10 and 22.
Junction Road in Churchill faces electrical work on October 23 requiring closure between 9am and 2pm.
The project involves reconnecting a new span across the carriageway.
LV electrical service upgrades will block Manor Road in Witney from October 21 to October 27.
The restriction applies to the section between addresses 59 and 81.
An unnamed road in Eynsham will close for connection work from September 1 to September 14.
Work hours run from 8pm to 6am.
Station Road in Ascott-under-Wychwood requires level crossing improvements.
Closure occurs only during two weekends in December, specifically the 5th and 6th and the 12th and 13th, between 11.45pm and 8.30am.
The road remains passable at all other times.
The council has confirmed that emergency vehicles and occupiers of properties within closed sections will retain access wherever feasible.
Warning signs will be positioned to inform drivers of the restrictions in place.
