Wantage & Grove Cricket Club in Oxfordshire transformed its ground into a carnival-themed venue for an encounter with travelling side Viscount CC last Sunday, August 30.
The fixture marked the second consecutive season that the two sides have met.
The event featured Caribbean-inspired celebrations alongside the sporting action.
Spectators were invited to enjoy an afternoon combining cricket, musical entertainment and dining options.
The touring party arrived bearing West Indian-inspired cuisine and brought festive energy to the OX12 postcode area.
On the field, Wantage & Grove entered bat first and were dismissed for 116 runs.
Viscount CC chased down the target and secured victory by eight wickets.
Following the conclusion of play, a club representative provided match statistics.
Khizzer Iqbal led the home side’s batting performance with 55 runs.
He later partnered with team-mate JC to execute a run-out of one of the opening batsmen.
Rajan Sidhu claimed the remaining wicket taken by the Wantage attack during Viscount’s innings.
