The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have reportedly returned to the United Kingdom with their two children following a six-year period residing in California.
According to multiple reports, Prince Archie, aged seven, and Princess Lilibet, aged five, have been registered at an educational institution in the Cotswolds region, with classes potentially commencing before the end of the current month.
The family has taken up temporary residence at a property in the Cotswolds belonging to a well-known figure while house-hunting for a more permanent base in the area.
Sources indicate that an offer exceeding £12 million has been submitted for a residence located in proximity to Stow-on-the-Wold, with the couple apparently preparing for a prolonged period in Britain.
The reported relocation has brought renewed attention to questions surrounding the couple’s security provisions, particularly given Prince Harry’s protracted legal proceedings concerning the level of protection afforded to him during visits to the United Kingdom.
An individual close to the Duchess stated that everyday activities such as dropping children at school presented difficulties and expressed concerns about carrying out such routines without the police security provided to serving members of the Royal Family.
Representatives for both the Duke and Duchess have declined to comment on the reports.
The couple had previously occupied Frogmore Cottage in Windsor following their wedding in 2018.
They subsequently withdrew from official royal responsibilities in 2020 and established their principal residence in North America.
