Thames Valley Police have confirmed that one person has been apprehended in connection with an alleged assault that occurred in Banbury.
The incident is said to have taken place on Hennef Way in the Oxfordshire town on Saturday, August 1, at approximately 11am.
Officers have stated that the individual responsible for the alleged assault has been taken into custody.
According to police, the incident involved an adult male and an adult female.
The altercation reportedly happened in the vicinity of the Concord Roundabout in Banbury.
Investigators are urging members of the public who may have witnessed the assault or possess relevant footage to assist with their enquiries.
Those with dash-cam or CCTV recordings capturing the area around the time of the incident have been asked to come forward.
