Waste collection schedules across Oxfordshire will be altered during the current week due to the August bank holiday.

Households in the South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse District Council areas should expect their bin collections to take place one day later than scheduled.

For instance, any residence anticipating a rubbish collection on Tuesday would instead receive that collection on Wednesday.

Collections in the Cherwell District Council and West Oxfordshire District Council areas will proceed according to their standard timetables without modification.

Residents are advised to present their bins for collection from 6 am onwards on their usual collection day, including the Monday falling at the end of August.
