A new environmentally conscious care facility is preparing to launch in Bicester.
Otwell Grove, operated by the Crystal Care Collection group, will begin accepting residents during October and will offer residential, dementia, and short-term respite services for as many as 66 individuals.
Accommodations include private bedrooms with attached wet room facilities, and a straightforward all-inclusive pricing structure aims to provide families with financial clarity and no unexpected charges.
Maria Taylor, managing director at Otwell Grove, expressed enthusiasm about introducing the facility to the local area.
She noted the organisation’s commitment to delivering high-quality care alongside environmental responsibility.
The development will integrate into the surrounding neighbourhood through the Crystal Care Collection’s Community Tree programme, which establishes connections between the home and nearby educational institutions, commercial enterprises, and voluntary organisations.
The establishment sits along Anniversary Avenue East and incorporates environmental considerations throughout its design.
Solar panel arrays combined with sophisticated battery systems will supply a substantial portion of the property’s power requirements, while geothermal heating technology works to decrease the facility’s carbon emissions.
The structure also features building materials sourced for their minimal ecological footprint and superior insulation properties.
Additional environmentally responsible elements comprise LED illumination fitted with occupancy detection and comprehensive water conservation infrastructure.
Otwell Grove seeks to serve as a focal point for local interaction, collaborating with adjacent schools, enterprises, and groups via its Community Tree scheme.
