Thames Valley Police has issued a public appeal for assistance in locating a 34-year-old man wanted in connection with being recalled to custody.

Officers have published CCTV images of Juan Carlos Clarke, whose pursuit began approximately seven days ago.

The footage captures the individual in Cornmarket, Oxford, at approximately 1.10pm on Thursday, 27 August.

Authorities have confirmed that Clarke recently removed his hair and may appear noticeably different from photographs previously distributed to the public.

The subject stands at 5ft 11ins in height, possesses a medium frame and maintains a full beard.

Additional identifying features include a damaged or absent lower tooth, a scar situated on the left forearm, and a distinctive tattoo depicting two eyes positioned centrally on his back.

Investigators have stated that Clarke is known to visit locations throughout Oxford city centre, including Cowley and Jericho, as well as areas along the Oxford canal towpaths.

He also maintains associations with Banbury.

Members of the public who sight the individual have been explicitly advised against making direct contact.
