A brass ensemble based in Oxfordshire has completed a summer workshop session in preparation for its flagship event scheduled later this year.
Wantage Silver Band gathered more than three dozen performers last week for rehearsal work, building towards an extensive programme of autumn performances.
The organisation, which was founded more than five decades ago, will stage its annual festival on October 9.
The celebration will feature five separate concerts across a single weekend.
Beyond the main festival, the ensemble has secured additional commitments.
A performance of music from the Wallace and Gromit film franchise has been arranged at The Beacon venue in Wantage, while the group has also been engaged to perform for Remembrance Day commemorations.
A representative for the organisation described the workshop gathering as a highly successful occasion that united current members alongside 35 participants connected to the wider ensemble.
The spokesperson noted that such collaborative activities provide advantages across multiple areas and serve those who take part.
Preparations are apparently already underway for a similar gathering in the future.
