A cricket ground in Didcot suffered vandalism at the hands of a group of adolescents.

The incident occurred at Boundary Park on Greenwood Way within the Great Western Park estate on Friday, August 21.

Several boundary markers were uprooted and rendered unusable.

Authorities reported that some of these markers were subsequently taken.

Equipment surrounding the playing surface, including boundary ropes, sustained damage during the incident.

Playing surface markings were additionally affected.

When a man in his forties attempted to intervene and calm the situation, he was met with hostile responses from the group.

Officers have released descriptions of four individuals believed responsible.

The first is a white male adolescent, approximately 16 years old, standing around 5 feet 7 inches tall with a thin frame and short brown hair.

He was dressed in a black shirt featuring grey side panels, matching black trousers, and black footwear.

The second suspect is also a white male teenager, roughly 16 years of age, measuring approximately 5 feet 10 inches in height with a slim build and short brown hair worn with a fringe.

He was wearing a black top, black joggers, dark grey flip-flops, and carried a black backpack.

A third white female adolescent, around 16 years old, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall with a slender build and shoulder-length dark brown hair, was identified wearing a black shirt, black bottoms, and black shoes.

The fourth individual is another white female teenager, approximately 16 years old, around 5 feet 6 inches tall with a slim build and dark brown hair, dressed in a black shirt and black trousers.
