The death of a man in his thirties was examined during an opening hearing at Oxfordshire Coroner’s Court.
Jack Alder, a resident of Wantage, was discovered deceased at Bagley Wood in Kennington on August 15.
The 35-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene by police officers who attended the location.
An inquest into his death was formally opened by senior coroner Darren Salter at Oxfordshire Coroner’s Court on August 26.
Court documentation confirmed that Mr Alder was employed as a fire and security project engineer.
Following examination of the body, a post mortem examination established that the cause of death was hanging.
Proceedings were adjourned to allow a full inquest to be conducted at Oxfordshire Coroner’s Court on December 17 at 10am.
