The RAF Upper Heyford Heritage Centre is participating in the national Cold War Heritage Week.
Starting May 17, guests will have the opportunity to experience the Cold War facility via guided tours. These tours include access to the nuclear bomb storage area and the command centre.
Free admission is offered on May 17, May 20, and May 24.
Writer David Tuch will present a talk on May 24 focused on international drug smuggling throughout the Cold War period. Booking is necessary for the guided tours.
