A 57-year-old resident of Penrhyn Close in Banbury has been convicted of indecent exposure at a reservoir in the Oxfordshire town.
Sean Stimpson was found guilty of exposing himself at Grimsbury Reservoir in Banbury.
At High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court, he received a 26-week prison sentence that was suspended for 12 months. He was also mandated to pay £650 in court costs alongside a £187 victim surcharge.
The court ordered him to undergo six months of alcohol rehabilitation treatment and to sign in at Banbury Police Station for a period of seven years.
The incident occurred on May 7, 2025, in a car park located on Waterworks Road.
He was convicted under section 66 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003, which addresses intentional exposure carried out to cause alarm or distress.
