A showcase of creative works celebrating the Ridgeway National Trail is planned for later this month.
The yearly Swire Ridgeway Arts Prize display, titled Shapes and Shadows of the Ridgeway, is slated for April 18 and 19 at the Thomas Hughes Memorial Hall in Uffington.
Artists have contributed over 100 pieces encompassing paintings, sketches, photographs, sculptures and literary works, with numerous items offered for sale.
The judging panel will convene on April 17, while the awards presentation is arranged for April 19.
Visitors can attend between 10am and 5pm across both days, with food and beverages provided.
The occasion, coordinated by the Friends of the Ridgeway group, seeks to draw attention to the ancient and picturesque terrain of the Ridgeway National Trail, which runs from Overton Hill at Avebury through to Ivinghoe Beacon in the Chilterns.
