Jeremy Clarkson and Lisa Hogan have given the Diddly Squat Farm Shop in Oxfordshire a complete overhaul with significant alterations.
The stars of Clarkson’s Farm launched the Cotswolds outlet in 2020, which has attracted considerable visitor interest in the years since.
Their activities were captured in the widely popular Amazon Prime television programme Clarkson’s Farm, which now spans five seasons.
In a post on the Diddly Squat Farm Shop’s official Facebook account earlier this month, it was announced that the main retail space would be shut from March 16 to 24.
Today (Wednesday, March 25), the venue has reopened with substantial transformations following a comprehensive renovation.
Regarding the upgrades, an official communication stated that the establishment retains its characteristic countryside appeal and carefully curated assortment that originally attracted dedicated followers to an unmade verge near Chipping Norton, now enhanced with improved fittings, fresh decoration and rotating seasonal themes throughout the year.
Through these improvements, Hogan and Clarkson have introduced a fresh identity centred on the conviction that British agriculture merits recognition and pride.
The fresh brand slogan, For Farms’ Sake, seeks to highlight agricultural businesses and the individuals who sustain them.
Championing the farmers who begin work at four in the morning in wet conditions, this represents a commitment from Diddly Squat that merchandise stocked supports agricultural producers.
Clarkson remarked that nothing irritates him more than produce entirely disconnected from those who cultivated it. Their offerings, he explained, maintain that connection. The shopping process, he suggested, ought to be straightforward: selecting a product such as a jar of mustard directly assists a British farmer.
Hogan noted that at Diddly Squat Farm, ingredients are grown and obtained to bolster British agriculture, with the aim of ensuring customers experience the farm’s atmosphere upon purchasing anything. She expressed enthusiasm about greeting patrons returning and seeing familiar faces.
A fresh cockerel emblem featuring the bird holding a pitchfork with its chest forward has been introduced, serving as what has been termed a seal of quality.
The staff explain that this fresh symbol identifies produce worthy of purchase, described as genuine and benefiting growers who merit equitable compensation for their labour.
The fifth series of Clarkson’s Farm completed production in September 2025 and is slated for Prime Video release in May.
Eight fresh instalments will be accessible for streaming, showcasing Diddly Squat Farm in Chadlington and The Farmer’s Dog establishment in Asthall.
