Scary Spice has addressed the possibility of a Spice Girls comeback in 2026.

The chart-topping act emerged in 1994 and achieved global superstars status before disbanding four years later to focus on individual projects.

Two members of the quintet now reside in Oxfordshire, with Victoria Beckham calling the Cotswolds near Chipping Norton home while Geri Halliwell lives close to Banbury.

Earlier this year, the most recognisable member of the group posted an image on Instagram to her substantial following of nearly 40 million people, capturing herself alongside her former bandmates Halliwell, Emma Bunton and Melanie Chisholm.

The quartet had gathered to celebrate Bunton’s 50th birthday, and footage of them performing their signature hit Viva Forever circulated online.

Nevertheless, media outlets have reported that the documentary marking the group’s 30th anniversary, which had been prepared for Netflix, has now been shelved, disappointing supporters.

Sources indicate the decision was influenced by concerns that the prolonged family dispute involving the Beckhams might detract attention from the reunion.

Now Mel B has commented on a potential revival for the celebrated act and confirmed she still hopes it will materialise.

Speaking to Page Six at a Revive Collagen function in Los Angeles she expressed that ideally they would already be touring the world by now. She mentioned she is consistently the one pushing for a tour, expressing her strong desire to tour and make music, but acknowledged that it is not currently happening.
