A street in Oxford will be blocked around the clock during upcoming works, with officials stationed to direct drivers.
Old Marston’s Oxford Road will be blocked where it meets Boults Lane while engineers perform electricity upgrades.
According to a statement from Oxfordshire County Council, the highways body, the street is expected to be inaccessible from Friday April 3 through to Sunday April 5, throughout both day and night hours.
Emergency services and residents living within the blocked area will still be able to get through when possible, depending on how the work progresses, the statement indicated.
Traffic management personnel will keep a route open to Boults Lane.
Drivers are being advised to travel instead along Cherwell Drive, Marsh Lane and Elsfield Road in both directions.
The Electricity Network Company Limited is handling the project, covering a stretch of approximately 123 metres from the Red Lion establishment to a home at number 55.
