A Lloyds branch in an Oxfordshire town is preparing to welcome customers back following the completion of environmental improvement work.
The facility at 2-4 Market Square in Witney will resume operations tomorrow (Tuesday, March 24) after more than four weeks of renovation.
The project involved reconfiguring the back-office areas to enhance the branch’s environmental performance.
A Lloyds representative confirmed that the upgrades had been carried out at the Witney location and that with work now finished, the branch would resume normal operating hours with staff available to assist customers with various face-to-face banking needs.
The investment follows a broader trend of banks reducing their physical services, with Halifax, which operates under the Lloyds Banking Group umbrella, having shut its Witney branch in the previous year.
