Cogges Manor Farm has announced its programme for the Easter break, combining rural attractions with Alice in Wonderland-inspired entertainment.
The event runs from Saturday, March 28 through to Sunday, April 12 at the heritage farm site, with activities suitable for visitors of every age.
Guests can encounter farmyard animals including chicks in the incubation area and recently born lambs, while children will enjoy a large sand play area and several newly introduced small tractors.
The attraction is also welcoming Freya, a full-scale model cow that visitors can pretend to milk.
Fans of Alice in Wonderland will discover themed decorations as the ground floor of the Manor House transforms into scenes from the classic tale, including a Mad Hatter tea party and the Queen of Hearts’ sitting room.
Additional offerings comprise creative craft sessions and a special Wonderland-themed pathway winding through the grounds, plus an indoor search for knitted bunnies.
The popular straw-based egg treasure hunt returns to the stables, where concealed brightly-coloured eggs and rewards await young hunters.
Those visiting over the Easter weekend may wish to purchase refreshments from Alice’s Pantry.
Other highlights feature baking showcases using the historic 200-year-old Range cooker, running from 11am until 2pm on most days when volunteers are available.
Standard entry fees apply, though those holding season passes gain complimentary access.
