A beloved Oxfordshire confectionery outlet is preparing to throw a celebration and has opened the invitation to all members of the local community.

The Shake & Sweet Shop in Witney boasts a 4.8-star rating on Google Reviews and is marking its 15th anniversary.

The festivities are scheduled for Monday, April 6 at the establishment situated at 12 Market Square, with the independent family enterprise planning entertainment such as live music, face painting, interactive games and complimentary prizes.

A special promotion will also feature during the event, with complimentary milkshakes offered to the first 30 customers who place orders.

A shop representative commented that reaching the milestone of 15 years as a small independent trader represents a considerable accomplishment, and the team wished to mark the occasion by welcoming everyone to join in the fun. As a token of appreciation, the business is offering its Happy Hour from 11am to noon, during which the initial 30 shakes will be complimentary while subsequent visitors during that window can purchase a shake for three pounds.

The programme will encompass music, face painting, entertainment, games and prizes, with the organisers expressing their hope that locals will come along to share in the celebrations beginning at 10am.

Throughout its operation in Witney, the company has maintained popularity among local shoppers and has participated in numerous community ventures such as Witney in the Pink and Turn Witney Blue.

According to the business website, a team of six staff members works at the outlet, which provides an extensive range of products.

The shop explained that alongside its extensive selection of hundreds of milkshake varieties and ice creams, customers can also find nutritious fruit and vegetable smoothies alongside an array of traditional sweets.
