A pair of drug dealers based in Abingdon are due to be sentenced for supplying heroin and crack cocaine at Oxford Crown Court in the coming week.
James Alder, aged 21 and residing in Limborough Road in Wantage, along with Brendon Shamu, 37, from Field Gardens in Steventon, Abingdon, faced charges relating to drug dealing activity in Abingdon spanning from October 1 last year through to January 23 this year.
Both men, aged 21 and 37 respectively, attended Oxford Crown Court on February 20.
Each admitted guilt for involvement in the supply of class A substances, specifically crack cocaine and heroin.
Shamu additionally admitted guilt for holding criminal property, comprising £8,795 in cash.
The prosecution accepted these pleas and a sentencing hearing was scheduled for both individuals on March 20.
However, this has now been postponed with a fresh sentencing date set for March 27.
During the plea hearing, Judge Michael Gledhill KC suggested that an immediate prison sentence would probably be imposed.
