A technology company based in Oxfordshire has entered liquidation, with creditors now examining its financial situation.
Heimdal Limited, operating from the West Oxfordshire Business Park in Carterton, resolved to wind up operations voluntarily on Friday, March 13.
The business, which was registered in January 2020, most recently operated within the category of miscellaneous professional, scientific and technical services, providing specialist consultancy and technical assistance.
Heimdal maintained connections with Oxfordshire for several years, with previous Companies House records indicating a registered office in Oxford before relocating to the Carterton business park.
Subsequently, the company moved its registered office in administrative terms to Uxbridge and subsequently to City View Apartments in north London, though insolvency notices continued to cite the West Oxfordshire unit as the main trading location.
A notification summoning a virtual gathering of creditors under section 100 of the Insolvency Act appeared on 28 February, preceding the liquidation resolution.
At this gathering on March 13, insolvency practitioner Brendan P. Hogan from Cromwell & Co Insolvency Practitioners in Coventry was named liquidator to manage the creditors’ voluntary winding up.
The Gazette notices indicate that a statement of affairs is being compiled for creditors, who have been asked to establish a liquidation committee and determine how the liquidator’s charges will be calculated.
