A family’s former electrical retail outlet in Oxfordshire is set to be transformed into a residence according to fresh proposals.
West Oxfordshire District Council has received a planning bid to repurpose the former Talmage’s Domestic Appliances premises as part of an already-existing house.
The address in question is 29-33 Mill Street in Eynsham.
The company has operated for more than three decades and offers an extensive selection of household appliances alongside repair services to both business and private clients.
Trading persists at Wharf Farm Technology & Business Park in Cassington, with coverage extending across the entire county.
The scheme involves integrating the retail space into the home situated nearby, while the building’s exterior would remain unchanged.
The application carries the reference 26/00603/PN56, with feedback welcome until April 10.
